TONIGHT'S MATCHUP: After picking up an exhilarating 4-3 overtime win over Greenville last night, the Cyclones are back on the road for just the second time this month as they battle the first-place Kalamazoo Wings. Cincinnati is winless in three trips to Wings Stadium, going 0-1-1 this season. However, the 'Clones have taken two of the last three meetings including a shootout win earlier this week.

SCOUTING THE WINGS: Kalamazoo has overtaken the North Division lead with a win last night over Toledo, combined with a Wheeling loss to Elmira. The Wings are now unbeaten in nine straight games (7-0-0-2) and hold a five point lead over the Cyclones coming into the night. Kory Karlander continues his offensive prowess, ranking third in the ECHL with 62 points (26 goals, 36 assists) - 10 of which have come against Cincinnati. Andrew Fournier, meanwhile, ranks third among all players with 29 goals. Although Riley Gill has started between the pipes in the last two games vs. Cincinnati, Ryan Nie picked up his league-leading 22nd win last night against the Walleye.

Keeping it Close With K-Zoo: The two division rivals have been extremely close in every statistical category this season. The Wings have outscored the 'Clones 32-30 in 10 meetings while Cincinnati has the edge in shots 310-297. Even the special teams have had nearly equal chances - the Cyclones have had 45 power play chances while the Wings have used the man-advantage 53 times.

Brought to you by the number 3: When Cincinnati's defense holds its opponent to three goals or less, they are deadly - going 22-3-5. The Cyclones have accomplished this feat in six of their last seven games.

Hudson's Highlights: This past Wednesday, rookie defenseman Carl Hudson earned his first pro goal against Kalamazoo and has now registered a point in 5 of his last 7.

"Mac-nificent": Cyclones forward Paul McIlveen has really found his stride since joining the club a couple weeks ago. In seven games with Cincinnati, he has notched four goals and three assists and has put his name on the scoresheet in six of his last seven games.
