The Elmira Jackals battle the league leading Reading Royals at First Arena at 7:35 p.m. as the Jackals go for their second victory of the weekend.
COUSINEAU STAYS HOT
After posting a .922 save percentage and a 2.56 goals-against average in four games last week, Jackals goaltender Marco Cousineau had another sharp outing, stopping 23 of 24 shots and earning the first star in last night's 3-1 win against Wheeling. In the calendar year 2011, Cousineau has a .919 save percentage and a 2.73 goals-against average to go along with a 6-6 record, improving upon a .878 save percentage and a 3.56 goals-against average in the 2010 portion of the season. Couisneau has upped his save percentage to .897 entering tonight's game.
DUBUC SEALS IT
Michael Dubuc scored an empty-net goal with just over 10 seconds remaining last night to put the Nailers away in the third period. The Granby, Quebec native has scored in four of the last five games and is second on the team with 18 goals in the 2010-2011 season.
