Walleye Sign May and Former NHL'er Wilson

(Toledo, OH) - The Toledo Walleye and head Coach Nick Vitucci announced today that defenseman Simon Danis-Pepin and forward Zack Torquato have been recalled to the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League. In a separate move, Toledo has signed forward John May and defenseman Mike Wilson.

Torquato is second on Toledo is scoring this season with 44 points (11 goals and 33 assists). Zack is the team leader in assists and has appeared in 53 games this year. Danis-Pepin has seen action in 22 games this season with Toledo. Simon has 2 goals, 10 assists and 28 penalty minutes with the Walleye.

Wilson played 336 games in the National Hockey League between Buffalo, Florida, Pittsburg, and the New York Rangers. Mike has appeared in 554 professional games, including two last year with Toledo. John May has played seven games this year in the ECHL between Toledo and Wheeling with 3 goals and 2 assists.
