Curve's Road Success Leads to $1 Tickets for Wednesday's Game vs. Trenton

ALTOONA, Pa - With Altoona's 7-6 victory over the Bowie Baysox on Monday night, the Altoona Curve concluded their best road trip of the season, winning five of seven games. Because of the success on the field, fans will save big at the box office for Wednesday's August 26 game at 6:35 p.m. when Altoona takes on the Trenton Thunder (AA - New York Yankees) at Blair County Ballpark.

The second phase of the Curve's Road to Savings Promotion called for fans to save $1 off-per-win on Grandstand and Terrace level seating for Wednesday's game vs. the Thunder. Since the Curve won five times on the road trip, fans will receive $5 off of seats in those levels. Grandstand level tickets will cost just $1 while Terrace level seats will be priced at just $3!

"The Curve have been playing terrific baseball the last two months and we wanted to capitalize on the terrific play by saving fans big at the box office," said Altoona Curve General Manager Rob Egan. "The Road to Savings program was successful the first time around, and we decided to implement it for a second phase. The team has come through in a big way for the fans."

Since July 1 the Altoona Curve boast the best record in the Eastern League Southern Division with a mark of 28-22.

The Altoona Curve are home for just six more games, including tonight's series opener at 6:35 p.m. Two-for-Tuesday, a Jersey off the Back Auction and post-game fireworks will headline Tuesday's contest. Fans can purchase two tickets, two hot dogs and two popcorns all for the price of one. Also, the Curve are teaming up with Sheetz, Inc. for Sheetz Family Charities "For the Kidz Night" where the Altoona Curve will wear unique alternate jerseys that will be available for silent bidding throughout the game as part of the a "Jersey off the Back Auction." Fireworks will conclude the evening's festivities.
