Harrisburg, PA - The 2009 baseball season is winding down, but the entertainment is still going strong at Metro Bank Park. The Senators begin their final 2009 homestand Friday night at 7:00pm against the Connecticut Defenders (SF Giants).
The homestand starts with the final fireworks show of the season, followed by every kids favorite, SpongeBob SquarePants on Saturday night. Thursday night is the final home game of the season and is your last chance to enjoy 2 buck beers on the Boardwalk and it's also Fan Appreciation Night. There's more going on each day during this final homestand, and as always, there is something for everyone!

Friday, August 28 @ 7:00pm vs. Connecticut (Giants) (Gates Open at 5:30pm)
The first 1,000 kids through the gates receive a free Senators cap sponsored by PSECU and WINK 104.

Annual auction to benefit the veterans at the Lebanon VA Medical Center presented by Hornung's Ace Hardware.
Saturday, August 29 @ 7:00pm vs. Connecticut (Giants) (Gates Open at 5:30pm)
The first 1,000 kids through the gates receive a free Senators T-Shirt sponsored by M & M's Chocolate Candies.
SpongeBob SquarePants presented by Comcast makes a special appearance on Saturday night. He will be available for autographs and for kids to have their picture taken with him.
Kids run the bases after the game, sponsored by Chick-fil-A.
Sunday, August 30 @ 2:00pm vs. Connecticut (Giants) (Gates Open at 12:30pm)
The first 1,000 kids through the gates receive a free Senators Ruler sponsored by WHP 580
Family Day presented by Rite Aid & WHP 580. Family Day coupons are available at participating Rite Aid locations redeemable at Metro Bank Park for 4 tickets, 2 hot dogs and 2 soft drinks for $20.

Cost Cutters Kids Eat Free Mondays presented by BOB 94.9 & River 97.3
Kids age 12 and under receive a free dinner of a hot dog, Utz chips, a Slush Puppie Slushy, and a Hersheys Ice Cream Sandwich along with an Upper Deck MLB Toy Truck.

It's the annual Fan Appreciation Night with giveaways for all fans. There will be a special pre-game program to bid farewell to the old ballpark prior to off-season renovations and to recognize key moments in Senators history.

They are also available by phoning the Sens offices 8:30am to 5:00pm at 717-231-4444 or by visiting the Little Red Ticket Box Office built by Home in Hand on the Walnut Street Bridge landing Mon - Fri 9:00am to 5:00pm or on game days from 9:00am through the conclusion of the game.
