
Cougars Announce Partnership with USO of Illinois

GENEVA, IL - The Kane County Cougars have announced a partnership with USO of Illinois that will recognize military personnel for the remainder of the 2011 season, as well as additional programs and events that are planned for the 2012 season.
For the remaining regular season games this season, active duty servicemen and women, along with their families, will receive free admission by presenting their military ID at the Cougars' box office. The "Tickets for Troops" initiative is inclusive of active duty, guard and reserve military as well as retired military personnel.
USO of Illinois will be recognized at the upcoming Friday, August 12 game through various in-game events.
"There are many men and women around the world making sacrifices each day to keep us safe here at home, and we're honored as an organization to show our appreciation for those people and their families through our partnership with USO of Illinois," said Cougars Assistant General Manager Curtis Haug.
"The USO of Illinois is excited to kick-off its new partnership with the Kane County Cougars," said Programs Manager for the USO of Illinois Dayna Malow. "We're thrilled to be working together to develop events and programs that benefit active military and their families."
