Dragons to Host Great American Beer Tasting

DAYTON, OH - The Dragons, in conjunction with Heidelberg Distributing, will host the Great American Beer Tasting on Saturday, August 6 from 2pm to 6pm at Fifth Third Field.

Participants, who must be 21 or older, will have the opportunity to sample from more than 70 different beverages. Products include Chimay White, Goose Island Matilda, Kirin, Margaritaville Spiked Lemonade, Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout and Belhaven Scottish Ale, among many others. Also, every person in attendance will receive a special sample of "Day Fresh" Budweiser; brewed at the Anheuser Busch Brewery in Columbus, Ohio on August 5 and delivered to Fifth Third Field on the 6th. A complete list of products is attached.

Raffle prizes will be given away towards the end of the event (must be present to win) including a 32" LCD TV, digital camera, Bud Light Neon, Budweiser Baseball Pub Mirror, iPod docking station, Eric Davis autographed bat and a Bud Light mini fridge.

For the price of $25 in advance ($30 the day of), participants will receive:

- 20, 4oz. samples of beer

- A souvenir sampling glass

- One raffle ticket

Designated driver tickets are also available for $5 each. Buy your tickets in advance at the Dragons box office in person or by calling (937) 228-2287. Tickets are also available at select locations where Anheuser-Busch products are sold including Brixx Ice Company, Boston's Bistro & Pub, Amber Rose Restaurant, The Dublin Pub, the Heidelberg Draft office, Belmont Party Supply, Applebee's Delco Park, Applebee's Wilmington Pike, Miami Valley Wine & Spirits, Fricker's Huber Heights, Archers Tavern, Wine Works and Keg-n-Cork.
