TONIGHT

The Bakersfield Condors meet the Utah Grizzlies for the first time in over a month and the fourth time overall in 2014-15. Tonight is meeting four of 13 between the two sides and the first of two here in Bakersfield on the weekend. Six of the final eight matchups will come in West Valley City.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT

The Condors rallied back for a point in a shootout loss on the road to the Ontario Reign on Wednesday night, a 3-2 final. After falling behind 2-0 in the third period, D Joe Marciano and LW Sebastien Sylvestre scored 27 seconds apart to pull the Condors back level. Sylvestre scored in the shootout, but Ontario scored twice on six shots to grab the win.

Utah matched the Condors with late-game heroics as F Michael Pelech scored with just over a minute remaining in regualtion to tie Idaho and eventually win in a shootout, 2-1. G Ryan Faragher picked up the win, stopping 24 in regulation/overtime and all five shootout shots.

CONDORS TEAM NOTES

F Michael Colavecchia, acquired from Utah on Sunday, had an assist in his Condors debut on Wednesday. He now has eight points (3g-5a) in his last eight games... D Joe Marciano plays his 100th game with the Condors tonight. He scored his third goal of the season on Wednesday and has already surpassed his point total from his rookie season with eight points through 31 games... LW Sebastien Sylvestre, who scored his 10th goal on Wednesday, is now tied for 17th in rookie scoring with 22 points (10g-12a)

GRIZZLIES NOTES

G Ryan Faragher has started the last eight games for Utah with G Igor Bobkov in the American Hockey League (AHL) in Norfolk... F Brandon Yip, who has played 174 National Hockey League (NHL) games, was assigned to the Grizzlies yesterday by Norfolk. He had 12 points (3g-9a) in 31 games with the Admirals this season... F Alex Krushelnyski, who was named to the ECHL All-Star Team, is tied for 9th in rookie scoring with 26 points (8g-18a).
