TONIGHT
The Bakersfield Condors wrap up a brief three-game homestand and play the middle game of a three-in-three weekend against the San Francisco Bulls tonight. This is meeting number seven of 12 between the two sides and the fourth of six at Rabobank Arena. Bakersfield is 2-4-0-0 against their new Pacific Division rivals. This is game number 26 for the Condors and home game 14 where they are 4-7-1-1. San Francisco plays game number 29 tonight and road game number 16 with a record of 2-10-1-2 away from the Cow Palace.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT
The Condors raced out to a 2-0 lead last night, just 1:28 into the game, as D Scott Enders and C Levi Nelson each potted goals. However, Western Conference leading Idaho would storm back in the final 40 minutes, scoring five unanswered goals en route to a 5-2 victory. G Scott Greenham got the start for Bakersfield and took the loss making 34 saves on 39 shots.
SHORTHANDED BLUE LINE
After starting last night's game with just five defensemen, the already shorthanded Condors blue line got even shorter when D Ryan Annesley left the game two minutes into the period and did not return. F Liam Huculak filled in for the rest of the night on the back end, as with penalties, the Condors at points were down to three available natural defensemen. D Trevor Hendrikx and D Olivier Dame-Malka were already out of the lineup with injuries.
CONDORS NOTES
C Levi Nelson has goals in each of his last three games (3g-1a)... D Scott Enders scored his first professional goal last night... F Brett Lyon dropped the mitts twice for his first fighting majors with the Condors. In two games with the team he has two assists and two fights... F Tyler Brenner was held off the scoresheet against Idaho for the first time in four games last night. He had five points (2g-3a) against the Steelheads coming into last night... The Condors begin a four-game road trip tomorrow night, playing the Midnight Game in Las Vegas.
