Kalamazoo Wings News Release

Stuffed animals beware, as the Kalamazoo Wings host the Florida Everblades in the 13th Annual Teddy Bear Toss Game. This evening is also the first meeting between the K-Wings and Everblades since last season's Eastern Conference Finals, a series won by Florida in five games.

Coming from behind last night, the K-Wings started their brief two-game home stand on a high note, defeating the Evansville IceMen 3-2 in a shootout. The victory put Kalamazoo in sole possession of fourth place in the North Division and just two points behind the Fort Wayne Komets for third.

Winners of four straight, the Everblades enter Wings Stadium looking to extend their longest winning streak of the season. Travel tested, this evening is the sixth contest of a season-long seven-game road trip for Florida, who is 4-1-0-0, so far on the swing.
