Tonight's Matchup: The San Francisco Bulls finish their two-game road trip, tonight against the Condors in Bakersfield. The Bulls are coming off of a 7-0 loss to the Ontario Reign, last night at Citizens Business Bank Arena.
The Bulls take on a Condors team they have gone 4-1-0-1 against in the first six contests of a 12-game season series. The teams last met on December 5 at the Cow Palace, a 4-1 Bulls win. In the win, Peter Sivak scored twice and Daniil Tarasov collected three points (1 goal, 2 assists). The Bulls are 2-0-0-1 at Rabobank Arena this season. In the latest meeting in Bakersfield, Sivak and Sacha Guimond paced the Bulls, with a goal and two assists each, to a 4-2 victory.
The Bulls sit in sixth place in the Western Conference, four points back of the Colorado Eagles and one point ahead of the Utah Grizzlies.
The Condors saw a two-goal lead evaporate at home last night against the Western Conference-leading Idaho Steelheads. A 2-0 lead after one period, on goals by Scott Enders and Levi Nelson, turned into a 4-2 deficit after two periods. Idaho ultimately won 5-2.
Bakersfield has lost three out of their last four games, and sits in last place in the Western Conference, three points back of Las Vegas.
Levi Nelson leads Bakersfield with seven points (3 goals, 4 assists) against the Bulls this season. Justin Bowers has paced the Bulls with 11 points (3 goals, 8 assists) against the Condors, while Dean Ouellet has a team-leading six goals.
