
Bulls Reigned in by Ontario, 7-0

ONTARIO, Calif. - The San Francisco Bulls (10-15-1-2) were shut out 7-0 by the Ontario Reign (17-6-1-0), Friday night at Citizens Business Bank Arena. Chris Carrozzi pitched his second shutout of the season, stopping 21 Bulls shots. Derek Couture registered three goals and an assist in the win.
Following a scoreless first period, Paul Mara scored his first career ECHL goal at 3:49 of the second period on the power play for a 1-0 Reign lead. Kyle Kraemer and Dan DaSilva scored 31 seconds apart with 6:49 and 6:18 left in the second period to put Ontario up 3-0. Couture scored his first of three, on a power-play goal with 90 seconds left in the second period for a 4-0 Reign advantage.
In the third period, Ontario went up 5-0 on Jason Beeman's goal at 2:24. Couture completed his hat trick with a pair of power-play goals with 7:57 gone by and 5:59 remaining in the third period for a 7-0 Ontario final.
The Bulls return to action tomorrow to take on the Condors in Bakersfield at 7 pm. On Monday, the Bulls host the Stockton Thunder at HP Pavilion at San Jose at 7:30 pm. Catch both games on KNBR.com and Americaonesports.com.
