Bakersfield Condors News Release

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Condors concluded the 27-hour Hockey-Thon in style by putting Long Beach in the doghouse Saturday night, by a score of 9-4. It was the finale of a week in which Bakersfield went 2-0-1. Long Beach got the best of the Condors a day earlier grabbing a 4-3 shootout victory. Monday, Feb. 12, the Condors beat Highway 99 rival, Fresno, 4-2, widening the gap between the Condors and the Falcons at the top of the Pacific.

Today the Condors, who are 30-12-6 on the season, including 18-7-2 at The Nest, take on Fresno in a 1 p.m. matinee face-off. They currently trail the Las Vegas Wranglers by two-points for the Pacific Division lead, but would move back into a first place tie with a win today, as Las Vegas is idle.

On Wednesday, the Condors once again try to take the boom out of the Thunder taking on Stockton at 7 p.m. The Condors have a 6:11 p.m. tilt in Phoenix against the Roadrunners on Friday, the first match-up of the season between the teams. The following night, the Condors return to the Nest to host the Roadrunners with a 7 p.m. puck drop.
