Charlotte Checkers News Release

CHARLOTTE, NC - The Charlotte Checkers won two of their three games on the road last week moving to 27-19-3 with 57 points on the season. The Checkers remain in a tie with South Carolina for fifth place in the American Conference South Division. The Checkers and Stingrays will meet twice this week in Charleston, which could give one of the teams some separation in the standings.

The Checkers will host the Toledo Storm Thursday in the only meeting between the teams this season. The two teams split games in Charlotte last season.
