
Condors sign defenseman Hanson

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors today signed D Matt Hanson, as announced by Head Coach Marty Raymond. Hanson is expected to play tonight as the Condors wrap up their three- game series in Idaho against the Steelheads.
Hanson, 25, is in his third season in the pro ranks, and most recently played in the Central Hockey League last season. There he split time between the Tulsa Oilers and Youngstown Steelhounds, appearing in 40 games and recording 6g-9a-15pts. In his rookie season in 2005-06, the Penticton, British Columbia native notched 11g-16a-27pts in 63 contests. Hanson played three seasons of college hockey with the University of Alaska-Anchorage, putting up 17 points during his freshman season in 2002-03.
The Condors have made other transaction moves today, activating LW Jason Kostadine (3-day) and D Jay Langager (7-day) from the injured reserve. Additionally, D David Kudelka was placed on the 3-day IR and F Ryan Gibbons was placed on the 7-day IR.
Upcoming games
The Condors wrap up the three-game series with the Steelheads in Boise tonight at 6:10 p.m. (Pacific) before returning home next week.
The Condors kick off March Monday Madness with a CW Bakersfield and 106.1 KRAB Radio High School/College ID Night on Monday, March 3 against the Cincinnati Cyclones. All high school and college students will receive executive admission (while executive seating is available) for just $1 by presenting their student ID at the Rabobank Arena Box Office! Doors open at 6 p.m., puck drops at 7 p.m.
Individual game tickets are now on sale and may be purchased through the Rabobank Arena Box Office, which is open from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Saturday with extended hours on game days. Tickets may also be purchased by phone at 322-2525, online at www.bakersfieldcondors.com, or at any Ticketmaster location.
