Condors Host Stockton and Blues Brothers Saturday

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors will host the Phoenix RoadRunners this Wednesday, March 28, and the Stockton Thunder this Saturday, March 31, both potential first round playoff opponents. Game times are 7 p.m. with doors opening at 6 p.m.

Wednesday is KUZZ 107.9 Blood Drive Night. All fans who donated blood to Houchin Blood Bank in March are able to use their vouchers for $1 terrace admission to the game. Wednesday is also College/High School ID Night at The Nest. All college and high school students receive lower bowl admission for $1 by presenting their student ID.

The Kern County Lions Club Eyeglass Collection will take place Wednesday night as well. Fans receive $1 terrace admission with the donation of a pair of gently used eyeglasses.

Wednesday is also a 29 Eyewitness News and SC Architect Condors Classroom Champions Night. Students who achieve outstanding attendance levels receive a complimentary game ticket.

On Saturday, FOX 58, 98.5 The Fox and Three Way Chevrolet present the Blues Brothers Act. See Jake and Elwood Blues perform their song and dance routines from their hit movies in their final hockey performance ever! Plus, the original Bluesmobile from the Blues Brothers movie will also be available in front of the arena prior to the game for fans to get their photo taken with it!

Charles Napier, the driver of the Winnebago in the Blues Brothers movie will also be at The Nest Saturday. Charles has recently had guest appearances in such TV shows as CSI Las Vegas, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Monk, but is more recognizable starring in many movies, including; The Manchurian Candidate, The Academy, Silence of The Lambs, Rambo II, Austin Powers and Philadelphia.

The Blues Brothers Act performances have brought large crowds to The Nest including in 2000, when 8,864 fans came to see them. That performance ranks as the second most attended game in Condors history.

Saturday will also be the final Bright House Networks, Bakersfield Californian and Wells Fargo Bank Condors Kids Club Night of the season. All club members receive free admission to Saturday's game.

Season ticket holders don't forget that Saturday night is Season Ticket Referral Night! Season ticket holders received complimentary rinkside or executive level vouchers to recruit additional season ticket holders.

Season ticket holders will also have the opportunity to meet the team after Saturday's game. All season ticket holders are invited to the lower-level to chat with the Condors players/coaches following the game.

In addition Saturday will be a Big Buddies Night. Underprivileged children and military personnel will be given the opportunity to attend a Condors game for free, thanks to local organizations.

After Wednesday's game stop by the Holiday Inn Select Autograph Booth located on the concourse behind section 108 and get your Nightly Notes signed by Scott Borders and Andrew Oke. After Saturday's game stop by the booth to have your souvenir program signed by Alexandre Bolduc and David Kudelka.

Individual game tickets are on sale and may be purchased through the Rabobank Arena Box Office, which is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday with extended hours on game days.
