Dany Roussin Returned To Royals

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League and the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, today announced that forward Dany Roussin ["DAN knee ROO sin"] has been assigned by Manchester to the Royals. This marks the third stint of the season with Reading for Roussin (6'2"/200) (22), who had been recalled to Manchester on March 1, 2007. In forty-two games with the Royals this year, Roussin, who was the Kings' second pick in the 2005 NHL draft, has scored six goals and assisted on sixteen others. In fifteen games with the Monarchs this year, Roussin, a second year pro from Quebec City, Quebec, has scored four goals and assisted on two others. In a separate transaction, the Royals released forward Ross McCain today. McCain did not register a point in five games with the Royals.

The Royals return to action on Wednesday night (March 28 @ 6:35 pm) at the Sovereign Center when they take on the Trenton Titans. The first 1000 youngsters twelve years of age or younger will receive a "Slapshot" bank courtesy of CTCE. Royals' game night broadcasts can be heard live on ESPN Radio 1240 am (and on the internet through the Royals' website, www.royalshockey.com), beginning thirty minutes before the opening face-off. Streaming video is also available for $6.00 per game through the B2 Networks, which can be accessed through the Royals' website.
