Peters Reassigned From Iowa

Boise, ID - The Idaho Steelheads of the ECHL announced today that defenseman Colin Peters has been reassigned from the club's AHL affiliate, the Iowa Stars.

Peters, an Eden Prairie, Minnesota native notched seven points in 33 games with the Steelheads before he was loaned to the Stars in mid January for his second AHL call-up of the year, which spanned 14 games. On February 20, the Iowa Stars released Peters from his tryout agreement and signed him to a standard AHL contract. The 25-year-old, St. Cloud State University product will be in the lineup tomorrow night as the Steelheads open up a three-game series with the Long Beach Ice Dogs.

In separate transactions, the Steelheads have activated rookie forward Charlie Johnson off the 3-day IR, placed winger Scott Burt on the 7-day IR, placed defenseman Blake Forsyth on the 3-day IR and transferred winger Colin Shields from the 7-day IR to the 30-day IR.
