BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - After notching two goals and three assists on Saturday, Kevin St. Jacques added another goal and four assists Wednesday night as the Bakersfield Condors routed the Utah Grizzlies, 7- 2, in front of 4,258 at Rabobank Arena.

The Grizzlies (9-22-3, 21 points) broke on top quickly, as former Condor Danny Stewart scored on a setup by Ryan Kinasewich to make it 1-0 Utah just 1:11 into the game.

Bakersfield (19-10-3, 41 points) tied it at 1-1 at 9:02 of the first, when Brett Lutes scored his team- leading 18th goal of the season on a nice cross-ice feed from Josh Liebenow.

The Condors took the lead less than three minutes later. Rane Carnegie spun away from two Grizzlies, slid a pass to Sean Venedam, and the Condors captain beat Rob McVicar high over the blocker to make it 2-1.

Bakersfield added one more before the end of the period, as Alex Kim, playing his first game for the Condors, chipped an off-speed shot past McVicar on the power-play. With the goal, the Condors ran their consecutive games with a power- play goal streak to 21.

The intermission break didn't slow the Condors momentum, as Andrew Oke took a pass from Tyler Liebel and scored at 8:18 of the second to make it 4-1. The assist was Liebel's first point in three games with Bakersfield.

At 10:08, Venedam struck again, as on the power-play, Kim moved it St. Jacques who slid it across the goalmouth to Venedam who banged it home.

Liebenow capped the scoring in the second, as after getting his helmet knocked off, he continued to battle along the backboards, and then took a pass from the point and stuffed one through McVicar for a 6-1 lead.

Joel Irving scored in his return to Bakersfield, knocking home a power-play goal at 12:52 of the third to make it 6-2.

But St. Jacques capped another terrific night with a power-play goal on a five-on-three advantage to finish the Grizzlies off. Venedam and Kim assisted on the goal to complete their three-point nights.

Notes: St. Jacques has ten points (3g, 7a) in the past two games. Bakersfield has won seven of its last eight games at home. The Condors have scored 39 goals in their last six home games, and have 36 power-play goals during their consecutive-game streak.

Todd Griffith played his first game for Bridgeport since his call-up on Monday, and had a shot on goal and a tripping penalty in the Sound Tigers 2-1 shootout win.
