Pensacola Ice Pilots News Release
SCHEDULE CHANGE REMINDER: The Pensacola Ice Pilots announced that their Saturday, Feb. 24 game versus the Columbia Inferno at the Hangar has been changed to Thursday, Feb. 22 at 7:05 pm. All tickets printed for the Saturday, Feb. 24 date will be honored on Feb. 22.
BIG ROAD TRIP: The Pensacola Ice Pilots begin a four-game road trip tonight (Thursday) when they visit the Gwinnett Gladiators at 6:05 pm central, 7:05 pm eastern. Fans can tune into the game live on Classic County AM1620 beginning with Ice Pilots Countdown to Face-off at 5:45 pm. The puck drop follows at 6 pm with Denis J. Puska. The game is also available on the internet at www.icepilots.com by clicking on the Sportsjuice logo.
The road trip continues with games tomorrow in Charlotte, and Saturday in Augusta. Both games begin at 6:30 pm central, 7:30 pm eastern. Pre-game show coverage starts at 6:15 pm on both nights with streaming video available from B2 Networks. The Ice Pilots conclude their road swing on Monday afternoon when they face the Columbia Inferno at noon central, 1 pm eastern. The game will be live on the B2 Networks but tape delayed on both Classic Country AM1620 and www.icepilots.com powered by Sportsjuice. The tape delayed broadcast starts at 6 pm.
ECHL ALL-STAR GAME: Ice Pilots forward Rob Rankin is headed to the RBK Hockey ECHL All-Star Game next week in Boise, Idaho. The skills competition is set for next Tuesday, while the game itself takes place on Wednesday. The All-Star Game can be seen live on Direct TV, Dish Network and On-Demand Digital through the NHL Center Ice Package. The B2 Networks will be available for both the skills competition and the game itself.
JANUARY 19TH SUPERFAN: Friday, Jan. 19 will be a busy night when the Pensacola Ice Pilots return home to host the Texas Wildcatters at 7:05 pm at The Hangar. There are many events and activities planned including great entertainment.
Superfan will be in attendance to entertain fans of all ages with his dancing and crowd involvement. He gives away t-shirts to the fans throughout the night.
There are also several big group nights planned including Baptist Health Care, Biker Night and College Alumni Association Night. For further details on the group nights or to book your service club or business contact Charlie or Aaron at 432-7825.
JANUARY 20TH GIRL SCOUT NIGHT AND ICE MAN'S BIRTHDAY: Come out to the Hangar on Saturday, Jan. 20 when the Pensacola Ice Pilots host the Texas Wildcatters for the second straight night at 7:05 pm. It's Ice Man's Birthday and there will be plenty of fun for the fans including prizes, games and a birthday cake. It's also Girl Scout Night so be sure to book your troop by calling the Ice Pilots office at 432-7825 and speaking with Aaron.
RADIO SHOW RETURNS JAN. 22: Due to a game on Monday, Jan. 15, the Ice Pilots Radio Show Presented by the Montgomery Paint Company returns the following Monday, Jan. 22 at Granny Cantrell's. The show is live from 6 pm to 7 pm and features the voice of the Ice Pilots Denis J. Puska, Head Coach Joe Clark and Ice Pilots players. It's a chance to catch-up on the latest Ice Pilots news and meet the players. There is always a nightly draw for great prizes. Granny Cantrell's is located on Brent Lane and I-110 in Pensacola and the show is aired live on Classic Country AM1620 from 6 pm to 7 pm and also at www.icepilots.com by clicking on the Sportsjuice logo.
