
Condors Attend Jump Rope for Heart

Tuesday, December 14th - Students from Adult Based Life Experience - Able Center in the Kern High School District will be attending the Bakersfield Condors practice tomorrow beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Condors practices at the Bakersfield Ice Sports Center are open to the public and if you would like to arrange a special meeting for your charity or special needs classroom please contact John Ayre at the Condors office, 324-PUCK (7825).
Tuesday, December 14th - Condors players Brad Mehalko and Kevin St. Jacques will take part in Highland Elementary School's Career Day beginning at 12:30 p.m. Mehalko and St. Jacques will be visiting three different classrooms discussing their careers in professional hockey. Highland Elementary School is located at 2900 Barnett Street in Bakersfield.
Thursday, December 16th - The Condors Coach's show goes on the road as the Condors battle the Las Vegas Wranglers from the Orleans Arena. The Coach's Show will begin at 6:30 p.m. as an extended Condors Countdown to the 7:00 p.m. face- off. The Condors Coach's show can also be heard live each week on KGEO AM 1230 as well as every Condors game, home and away.
Friday, December 17th - Colonel Claw'd makes a trip to the American Heart Association's Jump Rope for Heart beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Rafer Johnson Community Day School located at 1001 10th Street in Bakersfield.
Saturday, December 18th - Bakersfield Condors office staff and Colonel Claw'd will be taking part in the Boys & Girls Club's Dodge Ball Tournament beginning at 9:00 a.m. This round-robin tournament will pit teams from local organizations with the proceeds going to the Boys & Girls Club of Bakersfield. Colonel Claw'd will make his dodge ball debut, as there will be a special mascot match to kick off the day's events. The Boys & Girls Club is located at 801 Niles Avenue in Bakersfield.
Saturday, December 18th - Come one come all and take part in this special history-making event as the Condors host the Idaho Steelheads as WB-TV 12 and The Big 96.5 present the World's Largest Pillow Fight. Fans this is it! Your chance to be in the Guinness Book of World Records by bringing a pillow and joining the Condors as we attempt to set the Guinness World Record for the largest pillow fight. Pillows will then be donated to the Bakersfield Homeless Shelter and other local Kern County charities. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the puck drops at 7:00 p.m.
Tickets to all Condors home games can be purchased at the Centennial Garden box office open from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday - Friday, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays, with extended hours on event days. Tickets may also be purchased by phone through Ticketmaster at 322-2525, online at www.ticketmaster.com, or at any Ticketmaster location.
