
Condors and KGEO Partner Up Again

Bakersfield Condors News Release
Bakersfield, Calif. - Bakersfield Condors games during the 2004-05 ECHL season will once again be heard on KGEO AM 1230. Opening Night on October 22nd will represent the first broadcast of the season.
Every game this season will be carried live with "Condors Countdown" starting 15 minutes prior to the drop of the puck. Home games will again include a post-game call-in show. In addition, KGEO will also carry the "Condors Coach's Show" from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Thursday nights live from the Holiday Inn Select at 801 Truxtun Avenue. The first show of the season will be on October 21st. Director of Media Relations & Broadcasting Kevin Bartl will serve as the "Voice of the Condors" for a fourth season and also host the "Coach's Show" along with Head Coach Marty Raymond.
"We're excited to be working with KGEO," said Bartl. "Our relationship with Puck and American General Media has been strong throughout the years, while KGEO has been synonymous with Condors hockey, and we look forward to continuing that."

Tickets for the Condors home preseason game against the Fresno Falcons on Saturday, October 16th are now on sale at the Centennial Garden box office and all Ticketmaster locations. Lower level seating is $10, while all tickets in the upper level are $5. The Condors travel to Fresno on Friday, October 15th.
The 2004-05 season opens in 7 days at home on October 22nd against the Victoria Salmon Kings as a part of an Olympic celebration weekend. Everyone in attendance on Opening Night will receive a Condors magnet schedule, courtesy of KGEO AM 1230. On Saturday the first 2,000 fans will receive a Condors Gold Medal, sponsored by KGET-TV 17 and American Business Machines. The famous ZOOperstars make a return to Centennial Garden on Saturday as well, with a visit from Ichiroach Suzuki, Derek Cheetah, Roger Clamens, Mia Hammster, Peyton Manatee and Dennis Frogman.
A pair of Kern County Olympians will visit to drop the puck and sign autographs as well, with Gabe Woodward visiting on Friday and Larson Jensen on Saturday. Both games can be heard live on KGEO AM 1230 with "Condors Countdown" starting at 6:45 p.m. Ticket packages are on sale now for as low as $30.
