
College 3-2-1 Special, $1 Brews, Ladies Night on Tap for Spikes Fans

(STATE COLLEGE, PA) - The State College Spikes will return to Medlar Field at Lubrano Park for a brief two-game series Wednesday and Thursday nights against the Williamsport Crosscutters. Game times each night are 7:05 p.m. Highlights of the homestand include $1 Beer Thursday along with Ladies Night, Half-Price Wednesday, and the return of the College 3-2-1 Special.
It's also a pair of matchups pitting the future St. Louis Cardinals against the future Philadelphia Phillies. The Spikes, the Short-Season Single-A affiliate of the Cardinals, take a half-game lead in the NYPL Wild Card race into the games against the Crosscutters, the Phillies affiliate that currently holds the NYPL's best record.
The two-game set begins on a Half-Price Wednesday, presented by BIG Froggy 101. Fans can get into the ballpark with half-price Outfield Bleacher seats available for just $3, then enjoy half-price select 16-oz. domestic draft beers available for just $2.50 from 6-8 p.m., and half-price medium sodas available all game long.
Then, fans can quench their thirst and catch the Spikes in action on $1 Beer Thursday, presented by 93.7 THE BUS. The new Thursday night tradition in Central PA features $1 12-oz. domestic draft beers from 6-8 p.m.
Plus, one lucky fan will win a $1,000 gift certificate towards a gorgeous diamond with the Confer's Jewelers Diamond Dash after Thursday night's game on Ladies Night, presented by Circulatory Centers and MAJIC 99.
In addition, college students across Central PA can enjoy even more value on Wednesday and Thursday with the College 3-2-1 Special. The College 3-2-1 Special offers any college student presenting a valid student ID at ticket and concessions windows the following special offers:
- $3 Outfield Bleacher seats or $3 off seat in any other ballpark section, excluding Pepsi Picnic Pavilion and suites
- $2 medium sodas all game
- $1 hot dogs all game
Single-game tickets for Wednesday and Thursday, as well as all 10 regular season home dates remaining through September 6, are currently on sale through the Spikes Box Office and online at State College Spikes.com. Fans can visit the Box Office in person weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., or call (814) 272-1711. Fans purchasing online have the ability to print their tickets using a home computer and printer.
Groups of 20 or more can also purchase discounted tickets for any of the Spikes' remaining home dates. Additional benefits of booking a group for a Spikes home game include preferred seating and an exclusive early entrance.
