Ontario Clippers News Release

ONTARIO, Calif. - The Agua Caliente Clippers (14-14) bounce back late, after going down 15 in the first quarter, to take down the Northern Arizona Suns (8-21), 117-113, on Saturday afternoon.

Down 10 early in the fourth quarter, the Clippers went on a 19-6 run, capped off by a Garrett Nevels three pointer with 3:16 remaining, to give them the lead for good. Nevels found a good time to turn it on, with all 10 of his points coming in the final frame on three-of-four shooting from the field and knocking down both of his attempts from distance.

Markel Crawford led Agua Caliente in the scoring department, dropping 23 points on eight-of-15 shooting from the field to go along with seven rebounds and six assists. Xavier Rathan-Mayes nearly missed a triple-double, finishing with 22 points, 10 assists, and eight rebounds.

Northern Arizona's Jared Harper led all scorers with 25 points and Trayvon Palmer added a double-double with 24 points, 12 assists, and eight rebounds.

The Clippers look to keep things going against the Sioux Falls Skyforce on Tuesday night. The ballgame is slated to tip-off at 7 p.m. PST inside the Toyota Arena in Ontario, Calif.
