Ontario Eliminated from Playoff Contention with Loss to Rip City

ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Clippers (14-17) fall to the Rip City Remix (18-12), 114-99, on Thursday night in Ontario. The loss eliminates the Clippers from playoff contention.

Kobe Brown led all Ontario scorers with 20 points, on 7-of-14 shooting from the field, to go along with 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Armoni Brooks added 19 points off the bench to lead all reserves in the contest. Joshua Primo contributed 15 points, on 6-of-13 shooting, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists.

The Remix were led by Taze Moore's game-high 27 points. Moore added 6 rebounds and 8 assists to complete the all-around performance. George Conditt IV (10 points, 11 rebounds) and Jazian Gortman (14 points, 10 assists) each recorded double doubles in the victory.

Late in the first half, Ontario led by 12 but conceded a 13-4 run as the Remix closed the gap to 3 going into the half. Rip City would build off their momentum in the third, turning a tied game into 14-point advantage behind 16-2 run. The Clippers would cut the deficit to as little as 5 early in the final frame, but the Remix would fend them off as they cruised to the finish line.
