Ontario Clippers News Release

LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The Ontario Clippers (13-14) fall to the Stockton Kings (19-9), 115-105, on Tuesday morning, snapping their three-game winning streak.

Jordan Miller paced the Clippers in the scoring column, recording 22 points on 8-of-17 shooting from the field. Xavier Moon followed closely with 21 point on 9-of-15 shooting, including 2-of-3 from distance, to go along with 7 assists. Moussa Diabate added a double double, logging 10 points and a game-high 14 rebounds in the defeat.

Stockon was led by Mason Jones who recorded a 23 points and 12 assists for the double double. Stanly Johnson added 22 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists. Jalen Slawson logged 20 points and 7 rebounds.

The contest was tight through three quarters, with neither team leading by more than 9. With Stockton holding a 5-point advantage heading into the final frame, the Clippers quickly brought the deficit to within 2 early in the quarter. However, the Kings responded with a fury, riding a 22-5 run to a 19-point lead, their largest of the night. Ontario would bring it back down to single digits in the final seconds, but it was too little, too late.
