New Orleans Pelicans Assign Jordan Hawkins to Birmingham Squadron

NEW ORLEANS - The New Orleans Pelicans announced today that guard Jordan Hawkins has been assigned to the Birmingham Squadron, the team's NBA G League affiliate.
Hawkins, 6-5, 192, who was selected by New Orleans with the 14th overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft out of the University of Connecticut, has appeared in 55 games (10 starts) for the Pelicans this season, averaging 9.1 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 19.5 minutes per contest.
Hawkins will be available for the Squadron's game against the Long Island Nets today at Legacy Arena at the BJCC. Tipoff is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. CT.
