Clippers Win Final Game In Ontario, 113-102, Over Ignite

ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Clippers (15-19) defeated the G League Ignite (2-32), 113-102, on Thursday night in their home final game in Ontario. The LA Clippers G League affiliate will be relocating to Oceanside, Calif. and rebranded as the San Diego Clippers starting next season.

The contest was also the last for the Ignite, who will be finished after this season.

LA Clippers assignee Kobe Brown led all scorers with 30 points, on 12-of-19 shooting from the field, to go along with 9 assists and 7 rebounds. Armoni Brooks added 27 points off the Clippers' bench. Brodric Thomas recorded 26 points and 7 rebounds in the victory.

The Ignite were led by Michael Frazier II, who scored 22 points for their second unit. Also coming off the bench, London Johnson added 21 points and 8 assists in the loss. The Ignite starters were led by Gabe York and Izan Almansa who scored 17 points apiece.

After a fairly even opening quarter that saw 9 lead changes and 6 ties, the Clippers began to run away with in the second, riding a quick 16-4 run to turn a tie-game into a 12 point lead. Ignite would cut the deficit to within 3 points right before the half but the Clippers were unfazed, quickly regaining a double-digit advantage shortly after the break. Ontario's lead would balloon to as much as 23 as they sailed to the finish line.

The victory snaps a four-game losing streak and finishes the season on a positive note after missing the playoffs.
