The Sea Dubs briefly tied the game at 22 points before the home side rebuilt their lead, draining a three-pointer in the final seconds to close the frame ahead 34-28. The Remix remained in control to start the second quarter, extending their lead to as many as 11 points before a 12-2 run from Santa Cruz closed the gap to trail 53-52. The Warriors continued to battle in the final minute, and a Garuba free throw gave the Warriors a one-point advantage to end the half with a 60-59 advantage.
