The Sioux Falls Skyforce can clinch their first Western Conference regular crown since 2015-16 tonight against the Stockton Kings. Just one victory over the Kings in the two-game weekend series, who are also 22-10, will solidify the top spot in the West and home court throughout the conference playoffs.
Sioux Falls comes into the contest on a four-game winning streak after locking up a top-two seed and a bye in the first round of the 2024 NBA G League Playoffs presented by Google Pixel.
The Skyforce swept the Cleveland Charge last weekend, as Olin Carter III led the team in scoring on Saturday and hit the game winning three-pointer against his former team to close out the sweep on Sunday.
Both the Kings and the Force are very familiar with each other, as the teams played three times a season ago in Stockton, where Sioux Falls handed them three of their four home losses. HEAT two-way player Jamal Cain buried a three-pointer in the closing seconds to push Sioux Falls over Stockton 98-97 in the 2023 Western Conference Semifinals. DJ Stewart added 27 points in the winning effort.
Stockton returns point guard and two-way player Jordan Ford, who commands the team with 15.5 points per game, 2.7 rebounds and 4.2 assists. Fellow two-way player Mason Jones also averages 16.0 points, 8.4 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game. NBA veterans Stanley Johnson, Shabazz Muhammad and Jaylen Nowell combine to average 36.8 points per game, as well.
Containing the Kings three-point shooting will be under a key, as the second best percentage team from beyond the arc (38.0 3P%) is just 2-6 when shooting under 33 3P% .
Both teams finish the regular season on Saturday night from Heritage Court, with tip-off slated for 7:00 PM CST.

- Sioux Falls Skyforce head coach Kasib Powell has secured 79 wins in his three seasons at the helm of the organization.
- Powell claimed second all-time in franchise history for career wins in Sunday's defeat of Cleveland.
- Fellow Skyforce Hall of Famer Mo McHone sits atop the list with a 195-159 record, which spans from 1995-99, 2006-07, 2010-12.

- The Skyforce also celebrated 150 wins at the Sanford Pentagon on Sunday, as well.
