Cincinnati Meets Toledo in Second Round of 2003 Kelly Cup Playoffs

Cincinnati, Ohio – The Cincinnati Cyclones, an affiliate of the National Hockey League's San Jose Sharks, today announced the team's schedule for the Northwest Division Finals series against the Toledo Storm.

The best-of-five series pits the league's top regular season team in Toledo (47-15-10, 104 pts) against the upstart Cincinnati Cyclones (36-29-7, 79 pts) who eliminated the heavily favored Peoria Rivermen in the first round 3-games-to-1. Toledo swept the Lexington Men O' War 3-games-to-0 to claim their first round series.

During the regular season, Cincinnati and Toledo met a total of 10 times. The Storm compiled an overall record of 7-2-1 against the Cyclones, though five of their seven wins came by a single goal. Cincinnati's record against Toledo was 3-6-1, including a mark of 2-3-0 in the five games played at the Toledo Sports Arena.

The series is scheduled as follows:

Game 1 Friday, April 11 at Toledo Sports Arena, 7:30 PM EDT

Game 2 Saturday, April 12 at Toledo Sports Arena, 7:30 PM EDT

Game 3 Tuesday, April 15 at U.S. Bank Arena, 7:05 PM EDT

*Game 4 Wednesday, April 16 at U.S. Bank Arena, 7:05 PM EDT

*Game 5 Saturday, April 19 at Toledo Sports Arena, 7:30 PM EDT

Individual playoff tickets for the second round cost $19.50, $17.50, and $11.50.

Cyclones individual playoff tickets can be purchased at the U.S. Bank Arena Box Office between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and after 12:00 p.m. on weekend event days.
