Forget Named ECHL Player of the Month

Johnstown, PA- The East Coast Hockey League announced on Saturday, that Johnstown Chiefs center Dominic Forget has been named the Sher-Wood East Coast Hockey League player of the month for March.

Forget, 22, appeared in 11 games for the Chiefs during the month scoring 5 goals and 14 points. He was also +12 in the month. The 5'9, 180 LBS native of Ste. Julie, PQ missed the last two regular season games due to recall to the AHL Cleveland Barons.

Forget lead the Chiefs in scoring this season with 23 goals and 62 points in 70 games. Last season he had 24 points in 64 games with Louisiana. Forget played five seasons in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey league with the Shawinigan Cataractes. In 208 games with Shawinigan, Forget scored 120 goals and 222 assists (342 PTS).
