Cincinnati Cyclones Sign Torry Gajda To Tryout Agreement

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL, signed forward Torry Gajda to a tryout contract, the club announced on Tuesday (October 3).

Gajda, played last season at Providence College, posting 34 points (14-20-34) in 36 games-15th most among all players in Hockey East. Torry was the top scoring player on the Friars team.

"Torry had a great camp last week with Worcester (AHL)," Cincinnati Cyclones Head Coach Chuck Weber said. "He is an outstanding penalty killer who also brings a high level of skill to our hockey club. I look forward to seeing Torry compete with the rest of our forwards for a spot on our roster."

He is the 20th player invited to training camp by the Cyclones this season. The Cincinnati Cyclones open the 2006-07 season on Friday, October 20, hosting the Pensacola Ice Pilots.
