Condors annual golf tournament set for Tuesday, November 7

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors Professional Hockey Club announced their ninth annual Invitational Charity Golf Tournament has been set for Tuesday, Nov. 7 at Rio Bravo Country Club.
Proceeds from the tournament, presented by Faast Pharmacy, will once again benefit Condors Charities. This fund enables the Condors to make monetary donations to local agencies, schools and other non-profit organizations. More than $25,000 has been raised for various charities in Kern County throughout the tournament's history.
There will be 18 groups, each made up of a foursome and one Condors player. Registration for all Condors season ticket holders is open now. Non- season ticket holders wishing to participate should contact the Condors office about season ticket opportunities.
The sign-up fee is $125 per person or $500 for a full foursome and includes green fees, cart, commemorative golf shirt, as well as complimentary beverages, snacks and a post-tournament banquet. To register, contact Angelese Reed at the Condors office at 324-PUCK (7825) or areed@bakersfieldcondors.com. Space is limited and sign-ups will be taken on a first-come, first-serve basis.
This season Condors season ticket holders will also have an opportunity to bid on a chance to play with four players, as Mike Hofstrand, Reagan Leslie, Kevin St. Jacques and Sean Venedam are up for auction this year. All other players will be randomly assigned to groups.
Bids must be submitted as a foursome; individual bids will not be accepted. Only foursomes, who have sent in their complete registration and sign-up fee, will be able to bid. Bids will not be accepted from any foursome that has not registered for the tournament.
Registration will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 7 with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. There will be unique activities and prizes on select holes, such as putting with a hockey stick and "birdie or better."
