
Rediker, DiPace and Perras Agree To Terms

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder, an ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Edmonton Oilers, has announced the club has agreed to terms with defenseman Frank Rediker, right wing John DiPace, and goaltender J.F. Perras. Per club policy, terms of the deals were not disclosed.
FRANK REDIKER AGREES TO TERMS
Rediker, 21, recently completed a five-year (2001-06) junior hockey career, split between the Windsor Spitfires and London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League where he scored 66 points (22g-44a) with 463 penalty minutes in 194 career games. A native of Sterling Heights, Michigan and a fourth round selection (118th overall) of the Boston Bruins in the 2003 National Hockey League Entry Draft, Rediker scored two assists in 21 career playoff games with Windsor and London, and is slated to make his professional debut in Stockton.
JOHN DiPACE AGREES TO TERMS
DiPace, 24, enters Stockton training camp following three seasons (2002-06) in the United Hockey League with the Flint Generals and Richmond Riverdogs. The 5-foot-11, 190-pound Clinton Township, Michigan native has scored 159 points (67g-92a) with 537 penalty minutes in 223 career UHL games, while achieving career highs in all scoring categories with Richmond in 2005-06, scoring 31 goals, 36 assists and 67 points.
J.F. PERRAS AGREES TO TERMS
Perras, 25, recently spent his four-year (2002-06) college hockey career with Dalhousie University (CIS), posting a 3.14 goals-against-average in 56 career games for the Tigers, along with a .882 save percentage and a 15-40-4 record. A native of Embrun, Ontario, Perras was in net for 10 of Dalhousie's 11 wins as a 2003-04 sophomore, posting a career-high .909 save percentage in 22 games while helping the Tigers go undefeated in five of their final six games (3-1-2).
As a 2005-06 senior, Perras tallied a career-best 729 saves in 24 games for Dalhousie, while playing in a career-high 1,407 minutes.
The 6-foot-1, 190-pound netminder split his four-year (1998-02) junior hockey career in the Ontario Hockey League between the Erie Otters and Ottawa 67's, posting a 78-57-17 record in 170 career games along with 13 shutouts, a 3.16 goals-against-average and .898 save percentage. Perras registered a career-best 2.65 goals-against-average and career-high tying .906 save percentage in 33 games with the Otters in 2000-01, tallying a 19-7-4 record while guiding the Otters to a Midwest Division title and OHL regular season championship.
Perras' final junior season in 2001-02 produced a career-best 25 wins and 1,459 saves in 52 games with Ottawa, tying a career-high .906 save percentage while notching a 2.99 goals-against-average.
The Thunder opens 2006-07 training camp on Friday, October 6 at Stockton Arena and faces the Fresno Falcons in a 4:00 p.m. PT pre-season game on Sunday, October 15 at Stockton Arena. The Thunder begins the 2006-07 ECHL season Friday, October 20 on the road against the Bakersfield Condors at 7:00 p.m. PT, and faces the Long Beach Ice Dogs on Saturday, October 28 at 7:30 p.m. PT in the home opener at Stockton Arena.
