Johnstown, PA- Sam St. Pierre's goal 1:37 into overtime lifted the Chiefs to a 3-2 win over the Lexington Men O'War, Wednesday night at the War Memorial. The win was the Chiefs third victory in a row.

The Chiefs trailed 2-1 in the 3rd period when Phil Roy tied up the game 2-2. J.F. Boutin scored the other Chiefs goal. Both Lexington goals came on the power play with Ben Storey and Jared Smyth scoring.

Chiefs goaltender Peter Aubry picked up his 15th win of the season making 28 saves. Lexington goalie Mike Smith made 25 saves in the game.

The Chiefs continue to climb in the standings as they improve to 20-24-7, while Lexington is now 23-20-6.

The Chiefs are back in action Friday night when they host the Cincinnati Cyclones. Saturday night the Chiefs will conclude their four game home stand when the Wheeling Nailers come to town. Face-off for both games is 7:30 p.m. Remember, the Chiefs 1000th ECHL game will be played at home on February 22nd vs. Toledo. Get your tickets now for this special night.
