Bombers Planning Big Weekend at Nutter Center

The Dayton Bombers will be having a pair of 7:30 p.m. home games featuring special promotional activities at the Ervin J. Nutter Center this Friday and Saturday. As with all remaining home games at the Nutter Center this season, students with a valid ID or those under 18 can receive admission for just $5.

The Dayton Bombers Professional Hockey Team (ECHL), which has begun a season-long, five-game homestand by taking five out of a possible six points (2-0-1), will be having Mardi Gras Night at the Ervin J. Nutter Center this Friday (7:30 p.m.) when the Lexington Men O'War come to town. The Bombers will be offering $2 Hurricanes at this game. In addition, the Bombers will be handing out Mardi Gras beads at the door and will be presenting an intermission Mardi Gras Costume Contest. Music will be supplied after the game, courtesy of Kiko Rio.

On Saturday, the Bombers will be having another $1 Beer Night when they take on their intrastate rivals, the Cincinnati Cyclones for another 7:30 p.m. tilt. Also at this game, Ohio Lottery will be presenting the $1,000,000 Shot Contest. 20 finalists will win prizes, but only one fan will get a shot at the Ohio Lottery $1,000,000 Shot, presented by Wright-Patt Credit Union.

The Bombers will cap the weekend with a Northwest Division road clash against the Toledo Storm at the Toledo Sports Arena on Sunday afternoon (3:00 p.m. game time/ 2:45 p.m. broadcast time on www.daytonbombers.com- "Listen Live" Section- in association with www.sportsjuice.com)
