Carpentier Returns to Las Vegas

Moline, IL- The Quad City Flames today announced that center Hugo Carpentier has been re-assigned to the ECHL's Las Vegas Wranglers. Carpentier returns to the ECHL after appearing in one game during his second stint with the 2008-09 Flames.

During his first stint in the Quad Cities, Carpentier appeared in 10 games and record two points (a goal and an assist) while skating with the team from October 10th through November 14th. Upon joining the Wranglers in mid-November, Capentier recorded three points on a goal and two assists in eight games. In his most recent recall to the Quad Cities, he was held scoreless in his only appearance, a 3-2 overtime loss in San Antonio on Saturday.

Carpentier is in his first professional season following a four-year junior hockey career in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

The Budweiser Flames Forum will air live from Bleacher Bums in Davenport on Monday at 6:00 p.m. Peter Vandermeer, Matt Pelech, Brett Sutter and Matt Keetley will join host Aaron Roof for the show. Fans in attendance will have the opportunity to win prizes from the Flames and Budweiser. The show can also be heard on 93.9 FM WYEC.

The Flames return to the ice on Friday night in Manitoba. Game time is 7:30 p.m. The game is available on a pay-per-view basis for $6.00 at ahllive.com. The contest can also be heard on 93.9 FM WYEC beginning at 7:05 p.m. with the Hayman's Ace Hardware Pre-Game Show.
