AHL announces suspension

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. ... The American Hockey League today announced that Providence Bruins center Wacey Rabbit has been suspended for two (2) games as a result of his actions in a game at Manchester on Dec. 13.

Rabbit was suspended following a league review of his checking-from-behind major and game misconduct in the first period of the game.

Rabbit will miss Providence's games on Wednesday (Dec. 17) at Hartford and Friday (Dec. 19) vs. Toronto.
