Pirates vs. Providence Bruins Saturday, December 20th 7:00 p.m.

The Pirates return to the Civic Center to take on the archrival Bruins in this Labatt Blue Light Hockey Night in Portland! Get the full night experience, including pregame Labatt drink specials at The Stadium from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Fans (18 years and older) will have the opportunity to win a chance at $10,000 in cold hard cash! Entry forms can be filled out that night at the customer service table and ten lucky fans will be chosen to Dash for Cash during the intermission.

KeyBank will make a $1,000 donation in a check presentation ceremony to Keep ME Warm in recognition of the Pirates shutout victory over Manchester on November 30th. The money will be used to help local agencies like PROP that assists Maine residents with the cost of heating their homes.

Pirates vs. Worcester Sharks Sunday, December 21st 4:00 p.m

The Portland Pirates host The Twelve Days of Christmas finale! The winner of the Kids Crooked Holiday Giveaway will be announced during the game and receive a Kids Crooked House playhouse, on display at the Civic Center the night of the game.

Make-A-Wish Stories of Light campaign

The Portland Pirates are once again taking part in the Make-A-Wish Foundation Stories of Light campaign this holiday season. Fans can make donations to help the team raise $6,000 to light up a story of the Time and Temperature building in downtown Portland. The campaign kicks off at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, December 1st and runs through Friday, December 19th.

To donate to this very worthwhile effort, please visit the Friends of the Portland Pirates donation page. With their fans generosity, the Pirates can help the Make-A-Wish Foundation Share The Power Of A Wish® with seriously ill children all over Maine.

United Way Pantry Project

Hungry people in Greater Portland are getting a little help from the Portland Pirates and the Cumberland County Civic Center. The Pirates and the Civic Center have joined the Pantry Project, a food gathering program organized by United Way of Greater Portland to benefit Preble Street and other food pantries in the area.

The United Way pantry will be set up in the lobby of the Civic Center for the whole month of December. The Pantry Project wish list includes food items such as canned goods, pasta and rice, baby food, condiments, coffee and tea, sugar and more. Glass jars are also accepted. Fans can drop off the food items at the pantry shelves anytime they visit the Civic Center for a Pirates game, concert or other event.

Pirates to Visit Barbara Bush Children's Hospital at Maine Medical Center

On Wednesday, December 17th, the Portland Pirates will visit the Barbara Bush Children's Hospital at Maine Medical Center in Portland from 1:00-2:00 p.m. The players will distribute gifts, sign autographs and take photos with the kids at the hospital.
