
Bulldogs To Present Calder Cup Final Party This Friday

The Hamilton Bulldogs, in partnership with Hamilton Entertainment and Convention Facilities Inc. (H.E.C.F.I.), 820 CHAM 'The Legend', Cable 14 and Molson have announced they will host a playoff party for Game 1 of the 2007 Calder Cup Final between the Bulldogs and the Hershey Bears on Friday, June 1st at The Studio at Hamilton Place.
Tickets to the event, limited to 300, are available on a first-come, first-serve basis for a cost of only $5.00. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and food and beverages will be available for purchase. Fans attending the event will also have a chance to take home a number of prizes, including a trip for two to Montreal to see a 2007-2008 Canadiens game at Bell Centre and pair of tickets to a Hilary Duff concert.
Prior to the game, 820 CHAM 'The Legend' personality John Biggs will broadcast live at The Studio at Hamilton Place from 2:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Also scheduled to be in attendance at the event are Hamilton Bulldogs' mascot Bruiser, 'Dogs in-stands host Katie Stewart and the K-9 Crew.
Fans will then have an opportunity to listen to the Park's Furniture Pre-Game show on 820 CHAM 'The Legend' beginning at 6:30 p.m. At 7:00 p.m., fans can watch as the Hamilton Bulldogs continue their quest for the Calder Cup versus the Hershey Bears live on Cable 14. Derek Wills will provide the play-by-play call of the games, while Al Craig and Aaron Gogishvili will offer colour commentary.
The Studio at Hamilton Place is located at 1 Summers Lane in downtown Hamilton, Ontario.
The Western Conference Champion Hamilton Bulldogs will return to action on Friday, June 1st at 7:00 p.m. in Game 1 of the Calder Cup Final against the Hershey Bears at the Giant Center. The scene of the series will shift to Copps Coliseum next week for Games 3, 4, and 5 (if necessary) on Monday, June 4th (7:30 p.m.), Wednesday, June 6th (7:30 p.m.) and Thursday, June 7th (7:30 p.m.). Fans can purchase 'Dogs playoff tickets at the Copps Coliseum Box Office, any Ticketmaster Outlet, online at ticketmaster.ca, or through charge-by-phone at 905-527-7666. For Season Ticket Holders, Game 3 will be Round 4, Home Game A.
