CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Forward Christian Thomas and defenceman Darren Dietz scored 54 seconds apart in the second period to put the Hamilton Bulldogs ahead for good as the 'Dogs (3-3-2-0) went on to defeat the Charlotte Checkers (2-6-0-0) 3-1 at Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, N.C. on Friday afternoon.
