Blackhawks Reassign Darling to Rockford

Chicago, Ill.- The Chicago Blackhawks announced today they have reassigned goaltender Scott Darling to the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League.

Darling, 25, appeared in three games with Chicago, posting a 2-1-0 record, .933 save percentage and 1.98 goals-against average. The Lemont, Ill., native made his National Hockey League debut with the Blackhawks on Oct. 26 vs. Ottawa, turning aside 31 of 32 shots on goal for his first career win. He posted a 2-0-0 record with a .948 SV% and 1.44 GAA in two games with Rockford to open the 2014-15 season.

The goalie has made two starts with the IceHogs in 2014-15, going 2-0-0-0, stopping 55 of 58 shots with a 1.44 goals against average and a .948 save percentage.

Next Home Game: Tuesday, Nov. 4 vs. Lake Erie Monsters at 7 p.m. It's a WXRX Dollar Day at the BMO Harris Bank Center as hot dogs, sodas, beers and companion tickets will be available for one dollar each.
