
Brittain Signs PTO with Rockford IceHogs

INDIANAPOLIS - The American Hockey League's Rockford IceHogs announced Friday that they have signed Fuel forward Josh Brittain to a professional tryout contract.
The 25-year-old Milton, Ontario native has three goals and four points in nine games with the Fuel this season to go with a +2 rating. Brittain last appeared in the AHL with the Hershey Bears during the 2013-14 Season, playing 20 games and posting four points (3g, 1a) and a +3 rating. The 6-foot-5, 231-pound forward has played parts of four seasons in the AHL with Hershey, the Norfolk Admirals and the Syracuse Crunch, recording 30 points (16g, 14a) and 180 penalty minutes in 114 games.
Indy starts a stretch of three-games-in-three-nights tonight in Cincinnati at 7:30 followed by a home-and-home against Quad City that starts Saturday at Indiana Farmers Coliseum at 7:35 and concludes Sunday on the road at 5:05 pm ET. Radio pre-game show starts 15 minutes before each game on your home for Fuel Hockey, CBS Sports 1430 AM.
