
Booyah Can't Hold on in Fond du Lac

FOND DU LAC, Wis. - The Green Bay Booyah fell on Friday to the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders at a hot Herr-Baker Field, 15-7.
The Booyah were able to make contact and score runs early in the contest. Green Bay scored twice in the second, once in the third and four in the fourth inning. By the sixth inning, the Booyah held a 7-2 lead.
But the bullpen couldn't neutralize the Dock Spiders. Fond du Lac scored 13 unanswered runs, six in the sixth and seven in the eighth.
For the Booyah, Johnny Hipsman (Richmond) and Dalton Pearson (Georgia State) combined for six of the team's 15 hits. Tristin Garcia (Alcorn State) also recorded a multi-hit game. Matt Rivera (Harford CC) hit a two-run home run in the fourth inning, the first Booyah player to go yard this season.
Mason Patel (Georgia State) pitched well in his first appearance of the season. He pitched four innings, giving up five hits, two runs, one earned run, one walk and three strikeouts.
The Booyah and Dock Spiders will complete their second series of the season on Saturday night. Logan Lee, who enters his third season with the Booyah, will get the start. It will be his first appearance of the summer. The Dock Spiders have not announced a starting pitcher. First pitch is slated for 6:35 p.m.
Come to Capital Credit Union Park on Saturday for the game against the Dock Spiders as it will be Youth Sports Night. The first 500 kids 12 and under will receive a youth jersey presented by Capital Credit Union and WRFV Local 5. Kids will also run the bases postgame presented by Culver's and Y100 FM. Lastly, there will be a postgame firework show presented by Pepsi.

The Booyah will debut their new G.O.A.T.S jerseys as The G.O.A.T.S play on Sundays, presented by WDUZ The Fan.
