Trenton Thunder News Release
With five games down and two to go on the current homestand, the Thunder are 3-2 on the field. Even more impressive is that over 4,000 kids have eaten for free thanks to NJ 101.5 FM during those games! We weren't joking when we said we would feed every kid for free all season long!
Head down to the park tonight and we'll feed your children as always and if you're among the first 2,000 fans ages 6 and over you'll get a Tony Franklin Bobblehead Doll. He's pictured holding the EL Championship trophy, making this a must-have championship collectible. The homestand will finish with a bang as the Hilton Garden Inn will present post-game fireworks on Thursday night. It's also Dollar Draft night - see the story below. The games tonight and tomorrow both begin at 7:05 and are against the Connecticut Defenders.
Get your friends together for a night of great baseball, dollar drafts and lots of fun on Thursday, April 30th as the Thunder face the Connecticut Defenders (San Francisco Giants).
We'll be serving domestic draft beers for $1 in the New Picnic Area at Waterfront Park. This special section will be open to the public and will provide plenty of opportunities for socializing while you enjoy the beer deal and the game. Plus, you'll enjoy a post-game fireworks show courtesy of the Hilton Garden Inn.
Game time is set for 7:05 PM, but dollar drafts will start being poured at 6:05 when the gates open and run right through the 7th inning.
Dollar draft beers will be available at Boomer's Sandwich Emporium along the left field line only.
