O'Connor moves on to AAA Syracuse

The Harrisburg Senators in conjunction with the Washington Nationals have announced that starting pitcher Mike O'Connor has been promoted to AAA Syracuse.

O'Connor was 0-1 but just a 2.45 ERA in 14.2 innings this year for the Senators. He was the starting pitcher in the Sens season opener in Reading.

Last year he made 16 starts for AAA Columbus and pitched in five games with the Washington Nationals. O'Connor was 5-3 with a 2.17 ERA in AAA last season in 99.2 innings. He previously pitched with the Senators in 2007, making 15 starts.

With this player move, the Senators roster is now short one active player at 23 with one player on the DL.
