Today's Game This evening, the Bisons will look to continue their winning ways after a nail-biting win last night, 7-6. The back-and-forth series is tied at two games apiece. At the conclusion of tonight's game, the Bisons will host the Red Sox for a Sunday matinee game before traveling to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre to begin the month of August.

Last Game: BUF 7, WOR 6 The Bisons bested the Red Sox last night in a complete team win. INF Otto Lopez had four hits in as many at bats and scored four of the Herd's seven runs. His efforts included two home runs, one of which being an inside-the-park home run.

RHP Thomas Hatch gave up just one run in seven innings of work while fanning four Red Sox batters.

Worcester Red Sox (7-9) In the third series of the season between the Red Sox and the Bisons, the teams find themselves one game apart in the standings. The Bisons are 4-6 against the Red Sox at Sahlen Field this season. The Herd will travel to Polar Park to close out the season series against the Red Sox starting August 30th.

Today's Starter: RHP Bowden Francis RHP Bowden Francis is set to make his 11th start of the season for Buffalo tonight. In 62.1 innings pitched, the righty has 64 strikeouts, 27 walks and a WHIP of 1.57. In his last start against Worcester, on July 27, Francis went 2.0 innings only allowing one hit and did not surrender an earned run.

INF Otto Lopez Yesterday, INF Otto Lopez continued his amazing month of July by recording a double, a home run over the fence, and an inside-the-park home run. He drove in three of the Herd's seven runs to help lift the club to victory.

Buffalo Baseball Hall of Fame Three new members are being inducted into the Buffalo Baseball Hall of Fame prior to tonight's first pitch.

Former Bisons LHP Bob Patterson (1988-89), SS Jhonny Peralta (2003-04), and OF Ben Francisco (2005-08) make up this year's class. Patterson threw the first pitch at then-Pilot Field on April 14, 1988 and took a no-hitter into the seventh inning, while Peralta and Francisco had prolific offensive seasons in their time with the Herd.

Blue Jays Update The Blue Jays (55-45) dropped the second game of their four-game series against the Detroit Tigers with 4-2 loss. RHP Alex Manoah went 5.1 innings, giving up seven hits and four runs. The 24-year-old took a comebacker and left the game with a right elbow contusion. X-rays were negative. The Blue Jays will look to get back in the win column today with first pitch at 3:07 p.m. with RHP Ross Stripling on the bump.
