ROC ME TO SLEEP: Rochester has now lost 10 games in a row for the first time since the team lost 11 straight last year (Aug 31 - Sep 11, 2021)...the Wings have lost eight straight games to Scranton after starting the year 7-3 against the Yankees' top affiliate...the Baby Bombers have hit 10 homers in the series against Rochester...the Wings' losing streak is the longest in the International League this season...the clubs' three hits were their fewest in a nine-inning game this year (prev low: 4, 4/19 at LHV).

THE RIGHT FIT: RF ‚¬â€¹Donovan Casey went blank...the New Jersey native's single in the third inning extended his hitting streak to four games, tying his most consecutive games with a knock this season (4/6 - 4/10 v TOL)...Casey is 7-for-15 (.467) in the series versus Scranton, and his seven knocks are his most in a series this season...he was the only Wing with multiple hits in tonight's contest.

-The Boston College graduate is batting .291 (37-for-127) with five home runs and 17 RBI in right field (35 games)...in 25 games at other positions (DH, CF, LF), Casey is 12-for-82 (.146) with one home run and five RBI.

-He now has 14 multi-hit games this season, with 11 coming when he is in right field.

BRING EM' HOME: 1B Joey Meneses' RBI in the sixth inning extended his RBI streak to five games (eight RBI over the stretch), the second longest active streak in the International League...the Mexico-native currently has 64 RBI, which ranks fifth in the IL.

STREAKER HEAD: LF Josh Palacios went 1-for-4 with a single in the ninth inning (eight pitch AB) to extend his hitting streak to an International League best 18 games (prev high: Nolan Gorman MEM, 16)...Palacios' 18-game hitting streak passes former Red Wing Zack Granite who had a 17-game hit streak in 2017...the former Auburn Tiger also extended his on-base streak to 31 games, the second-longest in the IL this season.

‚¬â€¹RAILRIDERS NOTES

WAKE AND RAKE: CF Estevan Florial hit his third lead-off home run of the season in the first inning of tonight's contest (all three coming in July)...the Yankees' prospect now has 13 bombs (11 solo shots), tying Oswald Peraza for the most amongst RailRiders this season...Florial's blast ties his Triple-A season total of 13 homers last year.
