TWINBI-LL: Last night, Rochester was swept in the doubleheader, falling 8-6 in game one and 10-7 in game two... RHP Daniel Ponce de Leon allowed just one earned run over three innings of work while striking out six batters prior to the game one rain out...upon game one's resumption, the Red Wings jumped out to a 6-1 lead thanks to home runs from 3B Jake Alu and 1B Riley Adams...the bullpen allowed six earned runs between the 7th and 8th inning, surrendering the lead for good...in game two, LHP Josh Rogers gave up six earned runs in just 3.2 innings of work...Rochester would rally from being down 10-2, getting homers from 3B Jecksson Flores as well as DH Riley Adams and 2B Jake Noll...Noll registered two long balls in the contest...RHP Will Harris will start tonight as Rochester looks to snap their nine game skid.

BROKEN WINGS: The Rochester Red Wings have lost nine-consecutive games, the longest streak in the International League this year...the club has been outscored 72-45 over the stretch...the team has led the game while entering the seventh inning in four-of-their-nine losses...since starting the season 35-19, Rochester is 12-31.

- The Wings have lost seven-straight games to Scranton after starting the year 7-3 against the Yankees' top affiliate.

- Yesterday marked the first time Rochester had been swept in a twinbill this season...the Wings have not won a series since June 5, going 0-5-3 in their last eight series.

HOME-RS: In yesterday's twinbill, the Red Wings hit six home runs...the club has homered in 10-of-their-last-11 home games, hitting 18 total over the stretch...nine different Wings have hit a home run at Frontier Field over their 11 game stretch, including 1B Joey Meneses who leads the team with four bombs over that span...meanwhile, Rochester has homered in just two of their last 10 road games, poking five shots over that span...the Wings lost their first four-homer game in game two yesterday, after tying a season-high four blasts (4x).

BACK-TO-BACK: DH Riley Adams and 2B Jake Noll hit back-to-back solo shots in the fourth inning of game two...it was just the third time the club has hit consecutive bombs this season and the first time since June 15 (at SWB)...Noll has been the anchor in all three back-to-back home runs.

- Noll hit two homers in last night's contest, his first multi-homer game since July 16, 2021.

- Adams' blast was his second of the day (one in G1) and he's now batting .302 (13-for-43) since joining Rochester on July 1.

STREAKER HEAD: LF Josh Palacios went 1-for-5 with a triple and an RBI in game one of the doubleheader on Friday...the Brooklyn-native now has the longest hitting streak in the International League this season, extending his streak to 17 games (prev high: Nolan Gorman MEM, 16)...Palacios' 17-game hitting streak is tied with former Red Wing Zack Granite who had a 17-game hit-streak in 2017...Palacios also extended his on-base streak to 30 games, the second-longest in the IL this season and longest by a Red Wing since Chris Colabello had a 36-game on-base streak in 2013...the former Auburn Tiger did not play in game two of the twinbill.

TRIPLE-DOUBLE: RF Nick Banks hit a triple in the second inning of game one, his first in his Triple-A career (70 games)...LF Josh Palacios would go on to hit an RBI-triple in the third...it was Palacios' first three-bagger since May 28 (at SYR) and the Wings' first multi-triple game since 4/8 (3x in 2022).

THOUGHT IT WAS A DROUGHT: After hitting just .143 (5-for-35) and going 0 for his last 10 heading into yesterday's contest, OF Nick Banks went 2-for-4 with a triple...it was the first triple of his Triple-A career (70 games) and his first multi-hit game since July 7 (8 games)...Banks' recent hot-streak coincides with his recent walk up song change, now using "Low Life" by Future Hendrixx (feat. The Weeknd) which he changed prior to Thursday's game.

RIGHT IS RIGHT: 3B Jake Alu ended an 0-for-11 streak, spanning three contests, with a solo shot in the second inning of game one...the home run was his second since joining Rochester on July 15 (nine w/ HBG prior to being called up)...six of the New Jersey-native's eight hits in a Wings uniform have come versus righties...

- The former Boston College Eagle was batting .291 (66-for-227) versus righties and .241 (14-for-58) versus lefties with Harrisburg prior to his call-up...Alu has now hit 10 of his 11 homers in the Minor Leagues this year against righties...the 25-year-old was 1-for-3 with a home run and a walk versus righties in yesterday's contest.

RAISE THE FLOR-ES: 3B Jecksson Flores went 2-for-3 with a solo shot and two RBI in game two...the 28-year-old has two homers in just nine games this year after having just one in 55 games with the club last year...Flores is batting .296 (8-for-27) with Rochester since joining the team on June 30 with five-of-his-eight hits going for extra bases.
